Who would believe this lovely canal boat basin is in the middle of Pennylands Estate in Milton Keynes. One of our favourite walks on a sunny day, in fact any day.
Starting off at the basin we walk alongside some moored boats to a wooden footbridge where we stop and throw some food to the ducks below.
This picture of a kingfisher, Liz's favourite, is one of six under the bridge along the canal, all depicting birds of the waterways. We believe all done by an oriental artist.
