In the summer of 2013, Elizabeth was kind enough to offer me a spare room whilst I worked at Woburn Safari Park, saving me the long commute to and from Leicester each day. Elizabeth would always have a home cooked dinner waiting and she often provided dishes that I hadn't experienced before. After dinner, we would take a walk and do the crossword together – I like to think we made a good team! Elizabeth had a timetable of TV shows that she liked to watch and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that we had a similar taste. On evenings without her regular programs, we would watch a film together and I was introduced to some classics. I have always looked back fondly on my time spent with Elizabeth and I am very grateful for her generosity and company.
